About Us
Early on, at TerraEchos we saw the potential of streams computing to solve computationally challenging problems and began to develop analytic, code-based technologies to take advantage of that potential.
Our first fully operational appliance employing the two technologies was Adelos® S4, released in 2009. It combined the ability to process and analyze big data in motion with a patented digital acoustic fiber optic array that was developed by the U.S. Navy and then evolved by TerraEchos. Adelos quickly proved itself in the field: processing, correlating and analyzing massive volumes of data from a variety of sources video cameras, motion sensors, cyber networks and the fiber optic sensing cable itself in milliseconds.
In 2011, we introduced Kairos™. This appliance is essentially Adelos without the expensive, military-grade fiber optic sensor array. As such, it can perform the same analytical tasks at high speed collecting and making sense of high-volume, streaming data with absolute accuracy.
Our leadership at turning streams computing into real security solutions has attracted top partners. TerraEchos achieved IBM Premier Business Partner - Reseller status in 2011. We are the world's first commercial licensee of IBM's InfoSphere Streams and the first North American Reseller for the platform. We have partnered with Flywheel Ventures, attracting seed capital that will enable us to continue to develop and market our advanced security solutions and Kairos compute appliance.
TerraEchos, Inc., has several leading partners, including Flywheel Ventures; S&K Technologies, a tribal-owned company headquartered in Missoula, Montana; and GCS Research, an advanced geospatial information technology company. We develop code-based analytic technologies specifically for analyzing fast-moving data streams for security and intelligence purposes. In addition, we provide consulting and reselling services on the IBM InfoSphere Streams computing platform.
