Alex Philp, Chief Technology Officer and CEO
As the founder of TerraEchos, Alex Philp, Ph.D, specializes in cyber-physical security, advanced computing concepts, systems integration and geospatial information technology. Alex is an IBM Champion and one of IBM's go-to speakers on the power and potential of streams computing. He routinely conducts IBM podcasts and presents on how streams computing and Real Time Analytic Processing are revolutionizing security at the nexus of cyber-physical infrastructures. A longstanding and widely respected government contractor, Alex maintains activity with the U.S. government and an exclusive license for an advanced sensor technology with the U.S. Navy. As chief technology officer and CEO, Alex is responsible for continued innovation of Kairos™, developing new streams computing solutions, and evangelizing around the importance of real-time threat detection and response in today's hyper-connected, cyber-dependent world.
Bill Hartman, President
Bill Hartman is a retired Navy captain and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. During his career, he has led growth in numerous technology startups for Flywheel Ventures and other venture capital firms. Bill understands the military/security sector while also bringing a deep expertise in finance and fundraising for innovative, entrepreneurial companies. His private sector successes include Micromanipulator, MesoSystems Technology and Perseus Wireless. As president of TerraEchos, Bill handles day-to-day management, marketing and operational duties. His efforts will also be instrumental in raising capital as TerraEchos grows.
